. Read (and heed) Philippians 2:12-15
. Is prayer your steering wheel or your spare tire (only used in emergencies)?
. If we don’t P-R-A-Y for the world, we will end up as P-R-E-Y of the world
. Sin and prayer are incompatible – pray more, sin less … pray less, sin more
. Make sure you leverage your ‘priesthood’ by offering something to God at each Mass
. Faith: a gift from God to us, which we give back through our assent
. Our Catholic faith demands a public witness
. White martyrdom – not everyone is a called to a violent bloody death for the faith – we can become saints just by sacrificing in our daily struggles, being a man for others
. Each of us have the gifts and fruits of the spirit within us; but we need to nurture them, strengthen them
. St. Theresa of Calcutta: we’re not called to be successful, but we are called to be faithful
